SeaWorld San Diego is continuing its popular Seven Seas Food Festival with an exciting concert series that celebrates music, culture, and cuisine inspired by the world’s oceans. On Saturday evening, country music star Walker Hayes will take the stage at the Bayside Amphitheater, offering a lively performance as part of this year’s festival lineup. Known for his breakout hit “Fancy Like,” which dominated country charts and earned him a Grammy nomination, Hayes’ appearance promises to be a highlight for attendees.
The Seven Seas Food Festival runs every Friday through Sunday until April 26 and combines live music with a diverse selection of global dishes and cultural performances. Visitors can explore more than 150 food and drink options from over 20 festival huts scattered throughout the park. These offerings are inspired by various coastal cuisines, including Asian, Caribbean, Brazilian, Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican, and Polynesian flavors, reflecting the rich culinary traditions connected to the sea.
In addition to food, the festival features cultural acts that celebrate maritime heritage and global oceanic influences. Attendees can enjoy Polynesian fire dancing, Brazilian samba performances, K-pop groups, and cirque-style shows at the Parisian Stage. Educational animal presentations also highlight marine wildlife from around the world, enriching visitors’ understanding of ocean ecosystems.
The concert with Walker Hayes begins at 6 p.m., overlooking scenic Mission Bay, providing a picturesque backdrop that complements the sea-inspired theme of the event. Admission to the concerts is included with park entry, though reserved seating is available for those seeking a premium viewing experience. The festival will conclude on April 25 with a performance by singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips.
