On April 24, the K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM captivated audiences with their debut stage performance of their new lead single “CELEBRATION” on KBS2’s Music Bank. The group, consisting of Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae, marked their comeback after a six-month hiatus with an energetic and emotionally charged presentation. Their performance not only showcased impressive choreography but also conveyed a powerful message of resilience and growth.
Before taking the stage, LE SSERAFIM shared their excitement about returning with a lively song. They encouraged fans to join in the fun, emphasizing that the choreography allows for more free and enthusiastic dancing than ever before. As the stage lights bathed the performers in intense red hues, the audience’s enthusiastic cheers filled the venue and translated vividly through the television broadcast.
The members skillfully controlled the tempo of their movements while expressing a wide range of emotions through their facial expressions. A standout moment was the dance break section where they delivered fierce energy by vigorously shaking their arms and heads without pause. Throughout the entire performance, they maintained a dynamic presence that kept the momentum alive, embodying the song’s celebratory spirit.
Accompanying contemporary dancers enriched the stage’s emotional depth, helping to visually narrate the song’s themes. The choreography told a story of overcoming fear and moving forward together. Initially, each member displayed individual vulnerability through unique movements. However, as the performance progressed, they connected seamlessly to depict collective strength and determination.
“CELEBRATION” is part of LE SSERAFIM’s upcoming second full album titled “PUREFLOW” pt.1, set to release on May 22. The album explores themes of change and personal growth experienced by the members after confronting fear. Since its release at 1 p.m. on April 24, “CELEBRATION” has achieved remarkable success on global music charts.
