Louisiana-based worship group LO Worship has unveiled their first full-length live album titled “Songs for the Anxious Heart,” a collection crafted to offer peace and comfort to listeners grappling with anxiety and emotional struggles. The album, recorded live at The Hub in Monroe, Louisiana, features 16 tracks inspired by the personal experiences of the group’s members with grief, worry, and mental challenges. This release marks a significant milestone for LO Worship as it is their first extended project debuted outside of their annual “LO Sister Conference,” a key event hosted by Sadie Robertson Huff’s Live Original brand.
The album includes heartfelt testimony songs and pastoral moments led by Huff herself, creating an intimate worship experience that seeks to address the modern-day challenges of anxiety and depression. One notable collaboration on the album is with Aodhán King on the previously released single “The Perfect Love of Jesus.” The title track, “Song for the Anxious Heart,” was co-written with worship pioneer Matt Redman during a writing session in California. Redman suggested that the track’s theme would serve as an ideal title for the entire record, highlighting a unifying message of hope throughout the project.
LO Worship delivers honest and Spirit-led lyrics that resonate deeply with those facing emotional turmoil. Kaylea Coates of LO Worship explained that the album’s central message is about finding peace through abiding in Christ. The songs emphasize spiritual practices such as making space for God, waiting on Him, dwelling in scripture, revering Him, and engaging in prayer and worship. The group hopes that these songs will act as lifelines for individuals enduring seasons of suffering, anxiety, and depression.
Fans of the Robertsons from the original “Duck Dynasty” series may recognize Will Robertson’s involvement in LO Worship, especially through the song “Home.” Viewers were given a behind-the-scenes look at the live recording during the premiere season of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” on A&E. This series is set to be available for streaming on Hulu starting October 16.
Earlier in September 2025, the sold-out LO Sister Conference took place at the Monroe Civic Center. The event featured powerful messages from speakers such as Sadie Robertson Huff, DawnCheré Wilkerson, Jackie Hill Perry, and Lisa Harper. Attendees also enjoyed live worship music led by artists including TAYA, Jenn Johnson, Tiffany Hudson from Elevation Worship, Anna Golden, and Passion’s Chidima and Melodie Malone. Throughout this conference, LO Worship introduced new songs from “Songs for the Anxious Heart,” sharing fresh worship experiences with attendees.
Often described as a close-knit family band hailing from West Monroe, Louisiana, LO Worship continues to grow its presence in Christian music through meaningful performances and authentic songwriting. Their new album stands out as a timely contribution to worship music addressing mental health and spiritual peace. As anxiety remains a pressing issue globally, “Songs for the Anxious Heart” offers listeners an uplifting soundtrack to find rest and hope through faith.
