Country music artist Riley Green is gearing up to release his fourth studio album, “That’s Just Me,” on September 18 under Nashville Harbor Records and Entertainment. The announcement coincides with the debut of his latest single, “Think As You Drunk,” a spirited summer anthem that combines a lively party atmosphere with a heartfelt tribute to country icon Toby Keith. Notably, a portion of the single’s proceeds will support the Toby Keith Foundation.
“That’s Just Me” offers a deeply personal glimpse into Green’s life over the past year, crafted amid the busiest touring schedule of his career. The album showcases an eclectic mix of moods and styles, from tender ballads to upbeat beach tunes and energetic drinking songs. Green highlights how the record reflects many facets of his personality and songwriting, blending traditional country storytelling with a strong Western influence.
During an intense period of touring, Green wrote and recorded songs inspired by authentic moments in his life. He explained, “Some tracks are emotional and introspective, others are made for enjoying good times with friends, and a few capture real-life experiences I was going through.” His goal was to create an album that represents the full spectrum of who he is as an artist rather than fitting into one narrow genre.
Beyond music, Green has expanded his career this year by stepping into acting with a role as a former Navy SEAL on CBS’s drama series “Marshals.” He was also recently named a coach for NBC’s upcoming 30th season of “The Voice.” Additionally, he co-hosted CMA Fest Presented by SoFi on ABC in June and launched his own spirits brand, Duck Club Bourbon.
Currently headlining the “Cowboy As It Gets Tour,” Green is performing across North America with stops in major cities leading up to his album release. Fans attending these shows can expect to hear new songs live as Green continues to build excitement around this latest project.
The new single “Think As You Drunk” follows last month’s release of the gentle ballad “My Way,” another track featured on “That’s Just Me.” Although the full tracklist remains under wraps, these early releases showcase Green’s versatility in balancing heartfelt storytelling with high-energy anthems.
Riley Green’s forthcoming album adds to a strong lineup of notable music projects slated for September. With its mix of emotional depth and spirited fun, “That’s Just Me” is poised to make a meaningful impact on this year’s country music landscape.
