They Might Be Giants have revealed plans to extend their The Bigger Show Tour into the fall of 2026, starting with a series of performances in late September. The autumn leg of the tour features mostly two-night engagements across several cities in the Midwest, Texas, and Washington D.C. The tour will open with consecutive shows at Milwaukee’s Pabst Theater on September 24 and 25, followed by a two-night stop at the Barrymore Theatre in Madison on September 26 and 27.
Afterward, the band will perform a single show in Kansas City on September 29 before heading to the Twin Cities. There, They Might Be Giants will play two nights at Minneapolis’ First Avenue on October 1 and 2, then continue with another two-night engagement at St. Paul’s Fitzgerald Theater on October 3 and 4. The tour will then move to Texas for three two-night stands: Austin on November 5 and 6, Houston on November 10 and 11, and Dallas on November 13 and 14.
The tour concludes with back-to-back shows at Washington D.C.’s renowned 9:30 Club on November 19 and 20. Each concert will showcase an eight-piece band performing two sets. The first set of each night highlights a different album from their extensive catalog, while the second sets during multi-night stops will feature unique selections for each evening.
This fall tour supports They Might Be Giants’ newly released album, The World Is To Dig. Fans attending the concerts can expect to hear songs from this latest release along with classic favorites that have defined the band’s long career. Tickets for all new dates went on sale starting April 17 at noon Eastern Time through various outlets including Ticketmaster and AXS.
The addition of these dates gives fans an exciting opportunity to experience the band live throughout the fall season. With a mix of new material and beloved tracks performed by a full eight-member ensemble, They Might Be Giants promise dynamic shows that celebrate their evolving sound as well as their rich musical history.
This announcement also highlights a broader trend where artists schedule tours around significant months like September, often inspiring or coinciding with songs themed around this time of year. As music lovers look forward to autumn, they can find comfort and energy in performances that capture the spirit of the season through both live events and song selections.
